Thank you for your interest in the Osaka Furry Fun Festa (hereinafter referred to as “OFFF”).
Following the policies below ensures that you and the people around you have a safe and enjoyable convention experience, and allows the event runs smoothly.
We ask all attendees to understand the policies and be cooperative in order to run the event smoothly.
Regarding accommodation handling
Visitors may not travel to the venue in fursuit from nearby hotels or any other location.
General Policies
Do not enter areas outside the event space while in fursuit.
Intex Osaka is not reserved exclusively for OFFF and will be shared with members of the public during the event. Please be considerate of others using the facility and surrounding public areas. Do not gather in large groups, shout loudly, block walkways, or engage in any behavior that may disturb others.
Sales of merchandise may only be conducted by persons with permission.
The following types of activities or displays are not permitted within the venue: content that is strongly sexual in nature, excessively violent or graphic, overtly political, or otherwise contrary to public order and common decency. Items approved in advance by the organizers (for example, through the submission of sample materials) are exempt from this restriction.
The following types of costumes or accessories are not permitted, in order to prevent potential conflicts: items that are strongly sexual in nature, excessively violent or graphic, overtly political, or otherwise contrary to public order and common decency. Participants wearing such items may be asked to remove them or leave the venue. Items approved in advance by the organizers (for example, through the submission of sample materials) are exempt from this restriction.
Venue equipment and furnishings must not be used for purposes other than their intended use, and must not be handled roughly. Participants may be required to compensate for any damage caused by misuse or improper handling.
Instructions may be given by Intex Osaka staff, security personnel, event staff, or volunteers. Please follow their instructions promptly. Failure to comply may result in being asked to leave the venue.
In the event of an emergency such as a fire or earthquake, please follow the instructions and guidance of Intex Osaka staff and security personnel.
The distribution of food items, including candy or snacks, is not permitted.
Musical instruments or noisemakers may only be used in designated areas. Depending on the volume level, you may be asked to stop or lower the volume. Please follow staff instructions.
Please help ensure that all attendees can enjoy the event by avoiding conflicts with one another (whether physical, emotional, or financial). If a dispute occurs, attendees are expected to attempt to resolve the matter between the parties involved. If the situation is urgent or cannot be resolved between the parties, please seek assistance from nearby staff immediately. (Staff may assist in facilitating discussion to help resolve the issue, but they cannot provide compensation, reimbursement, or guarantees. Thank you for your understanding.)
In addition to the rules above, all applicable laws and regulations must be followed.
Lost and Found Policy
OFFF accepts no liability for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
Attendees are responsible for managing and securing their own belongings at all times.
Lost items found within the venue and reported to staff will be handled as follows
During the Event, all lost items found during the event will be stored and managed at Convention Operations.
If you believe you have lost an item, please contact Convention Operations immediately.
Valuables
(Cash, securities, credit cards, and any items clearly valued at 10,000 yen or more)
Valuables will be stored by OFFF staff for one week, after which they will be turned over to the local police department (Suminoe Police Station, Osaka Prefectural Police).
General Items
General lost items will be stored by OFFF staff for three (3) months, after which they will be turned over to the local police department (Suminoe Police Station, Osaka Prefectural Police).
Hygiene-Sensitive Items
Food, beverages, and used clothing such as undergarments
These items will be disposed of at the end of the event if not claimed during the event period for health and safety reasons.
OFFF staff reserves the right to inspect the contents of lost items as necessary to facilitate identification and return to the rightful owner.
When claiming valuables, you will be required to present valid identification and provide contact information for our records.
Fursuiting
During the event, the venue will be used not only by fursuit enthusiasts but also by members of the general public and others who may not be comfortable with fursuits. Attendees are expected to respect others and be mindful so that no one feels uncomfortable.
For Fursuiters
Each attendee may bring only one fursuit.
Attendees must change into fursuits only in the designated changing rooms within the venue. Changing in personal vehicles, restrooms in commercial facilities within Intex Osaka, or other locations outside the designated areas is prohibited.
Wearing fursuits in shared/common areas of Intex Osaka is prohibited.
Only those who chose “With fursuit” at the time of registration will be allowed to enter the changing rooms.
An attendee badge is required to enter and exit the changing rooms. Please be sure to wear it all times in a position where it can be seen, including when fursuiting.
Lewd or overly suggesive costumes or any inappropriate attire may be prohibited to wear. Please take into consideration that some participants may be minors.
Please take care your own physical condition and wear your fursuit within a strain-free range.
Take a break as needed by using the headless room or other facilities.
If you are not feeling well, take off your fursuit off.
If you are wearing a fursuit for the first time, please make sure to be accompanied by an attendant and do not wear it for a long period of time.
Do not lie down on the floor while wearing a fursuit, as it may be mistaken for a medical emergency.
If an attendee wearing a fursuit appears to be in danger (for example, showing signs of confusion or failing to respond), staff or emergency personnel may remove the fursuit by force if necessary. In such cases, the fursuit may need to be cut or otherwise damaged in order to remove it safely. Please understand this in advance.
Photography and Videography
Attendees should be mindful of their surroundings when taking photographs.
Attendees must not occupy chairs or benches for extended periods for photography.
Please avoid blocking walkways for group photos for extended periods (more than five minutes).
When using selfie sticks, attendees must be mindful of others nearby.
When posting photos on social media or other online platforms, please ensure that the faces of members of the general public cannot be identified.
Adult Content Policy within the OFFF Venue (Intex Osaka)
Intex Osaka prohibits the display or viewing of adult content anywhere within the Intex Osaka facilities (including parking areas) outside the OFFF event space.
Attendees are asked to fully understand and comply with this rule.
The OFFF staff will do their best to operate the event, and we appreciate your cooperation in helping ensure a safe and comfortable convention for everyone.
