{"id":1440,"date":"2024-01-04T19:31:50","date_gmt":"2024-01-04T10:31:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/osaka-fff.jp\/?page_id=1440"},"modified":"2026-06-13T09:30:38","modified_gmt":"2026-06-13T00:30:38","slug":"participation","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/osaka-fff.jp\/en\/participation\/","title":{"rendered":"Terms of Attendance"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thank you for your interest in the Osaka Furry Fun Festa (hereinafter referred to as &#8220;OFFF&#8221;).<br>Following the policies below ensures that you and the people around you have a safe and enjoyable convention experience, and allows the event to run smoothly.<br>We ask all attendees to understand the policies and be cooperative in order to run the event smoothly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">\u3010Hotel Accommodation\u3011<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you need to stay overnight, please make your own hotel arrangements in Osaka.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visitors may not travel to the venue in fursuit from nearby hotels or any other location.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">\u3010General Policies\u3011<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Please comply with these rules and follow the instructions of staff members while in the venue.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you do not follow these rules or the instructions of the staff, you may be asked to leave the venue immediately or be barred from future participation in the event.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attendee badges must be worn in a visible location where staff and volunteers can easily check them. Badges must be presented promptly upon request. Please keep your badge visible even while wearing a fursuit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Without presentation of attendee badge, attendees will not be allowed to enter the Main Hall or changing rooms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you lose your attendee badge, please contact our staff promptly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do not enter areas outside the event space while in fursuit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Intex Osaka is not reserved exclusively for OFFF and will be shared with members of the public during the event. Please be considerate of others using the facility and surrounding public areas. Do not gather in large groups, shout loudly, block walkways, or engage in any behavior that may disturb others.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sales of merchandise inside the venue are permitted only by those approved by the organizers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The following types of activities or displays are not permitted within the venue: content that is strongly sexual in nature, excessively violent or graphic, overtly political, or otherwise contrary to public order and common decency. Items approved in advance by the organizers (for example, through the submission of sample materials) are exempt from this restriction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The following types of costumes or accessories are not permitted, in order to prevent potential conflicts: items that are strongly sexual in nature, excessively violent or graphic, overtly political, or otherwise contrary to public order and common decency. Attendees wearing such items may be asked to remove them or leave the venue. Items approved in advance by the organizers (for example, through the submission of sample materials) are exempt from this restriction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Venue equipment and furnishings must not be used for purposes other than their intended use, and must not be handled roughly. Attendees may be required to compensate for any damage caused by misuse or improper handling.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Instructions may be given by Intex Osaka staff, security personnel, event staff, or volunteers. Please follow their instructions promptly. Failure to comply may result in being asked to leave the venue.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the event of an emergency such as a fire or earthquake, please follow the instructions and guidance of Intex Osaka staff and security personnel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The distribution of food items, including candy or snacks, is not permitted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Musical instruments or noisemakers may only be used in designated areas. Depending on the volume level, you may be asked to stop or lower the volume. Please follow staff instructions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please help ensure that all attendees can enjoy the event by avoiding conflicts with one another (whether physical, emotional, or financial). If a dispute occurs, attendees are expected to attempt to resolve the matter between the parties involved. If the situation is urgent or cannot be resolved between the parties, please seek assistance from nearby staff immediately. (Staff may assist in facilitating discussion to help resolve the issue, but they cannot provide compensation, reimbursement, or guarantees. Thank you for your understanding.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In addition to the rules above, all applicable laws and regulations must be followed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">\u3010Lost and Found Policy\u3011<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>OFFF accepts no liability for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attendees are responsible for managing and securing their own belongings at all times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lost items found within the venue and reported to staff will be handled as follows.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>During the event, lost items will be stored and managed at Convention Operations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you believe you have lost an item, please contact Convention Operations immediately.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Valuables<\/strong><br>(Cash, securities, credit cards, and any items clearly valued at 10,000 yen or more)<br>Valuables will be stored by OFFF staff for one week, after which they will be turned over to the local police department (Suminoe Police Station, Osaka Prefectural Police).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>General Items<br><\/strong>General lost items will be stored by OFFF staff for three (3) months, after which they will be turned over to the local police department (Suminoe Police Station, Osaka Prefectural Police).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Hygiene-Sensitive Items<br><\/strong>Food, beverages, and used clothing such as undergarments<br>These items will be disposed of at the end of the event if not claimed during the event period for health and safety reasons.<br>OFFF staff reserves the right to inspect the contents of lost items as necessary to facilitate identification and return to the rightful owner.<br>When claiming valuables, you will be required to present valid identification and provide contact information for our records.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">\u3010Fursuiting\u3011<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the event, the venue will be used not only by fursuit enthusiasts but also by members of the general public and others who may not be comfortable with fursuits. Attendees are expected to respect others and be mindful so that no one feels uncomfortable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">\u3010For non-fursuiters\u3011<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Many of the fursuits at OFFF are characters that their owners love and care for like their own children, and are one-of-a-kind and cannot be replaced. When interacting with fursuit characters, please be considerate of this fact and be gentle with them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Some owners do not want to be touched or photographed. Please ask the fursuiter or owner for permission before hugging them or taking photos. If they refuse, please do not force them to do so.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please read not only the general policies and cautions, but also the code of conduct for fursuiters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">\u3010For Fursuiters\u3011<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Each attendee may bring only one fursuit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attendees must change into fursuits only in the designated changing rooms within the venue. Changing in personal vehicles, restrooms in commercial facilities within Intex Osaka, or other locations outside the designated areas is prohibited.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wearing fursuits in shared\/common areas of Intex Osaka is prohibited.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Only those who chose &#8220;With fursuit&#8221; at the time of registration will be allowed to enter the changing rooms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An attendee badge is required to enter and exit the changing rooms. Please keep your badge visible at all times, including while wearing a fursuit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attendees may be asked not to wear costumes or attire deemed inappropriate, including lewd or overly suggestive outfits. Please be mindful that minors may also be present.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please be mindful of your physical condition and stamina, and wear your fursuit only within safe limits.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take a break as needed by using the headless room or other facilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you feel unwell, please stop wearing your fursuit and rest.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you are wearing a fursuit for the first time, please make sure to be accompanied by a handler or support person and do not wear it for a long period of time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do not lie down on the floor while wearing a fursuit, as it may be mistaken for a medical emergency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If an attendee wearing a fursuit appears to be in danger (for example, showing signs of confusion or failing to respond), staff or emergency personnel may remove the fursuit by force if necessary. In such cases, the fursuit may need to be cut or otherwise damaged in order to remove it safely. Please understand this in advance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please come prepared with ways to communicate while wearing a fursuit, such as having a handler, speaking, making sounds, or carrying a sign or placard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you experience any problems (unwanted physical contact, breaking something, etc.) due to miscommunication while wearing a fursuit, please contact our staff as soon as possible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please keep in mind that wearing a fursuit may limit your visibility, mobility, and ability to communicate, and act with safety in mind.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please also read the code of conduct for non-fursuiters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">\u3010Personal Belongings\u3011<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Please take care of your own belongings and valuables, OFFF is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do not leave your bags, luggage, etc. unattended.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please do not touch other persons&#8217; belongings, equipment, fursuits, or costumes without the owner&#8217;s permission.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you find anything suspicious in the venue, please do not touch it and inform a staff member.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please dispose of garbage in designated garbage bins. Littering is prohibited.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prohibited items\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Food and alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Non-alcoholic beverages such as soft drinks and tea may be brought in only in resealable plastic bottles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dangerous items, knives, firearms, stoves, corpses or remains, unsanitary items, items that emit strong odors, items that may harm other attendees, items that may damage the venue, and imitation versions of these items are prohibited. This includes model guns and imitation swords.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Animals (except service animals), small animals, insects, fish and shellfish<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other items that violate laws<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">\u3010Photography and Videography\u3011<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Attendees should be mindful of their surroundings when taking photographs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attendees must not occupy chairs or benches for extended periods for photography.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please avoid blocking walkways for group photos for extended periods (more than five minutes).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When using selfie sticks, attendees must be mindful of others nearby.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When posting photos on social media or other online platforms, please ensure that the faces of members of the general public cannot be identified.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">\u3010Photos and Videos\u3011<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Photography and video recording are prohibited in the changing rooms, Headless Lounge, and Dealer Booth Area.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>However, dealers may photograph or record their own booths.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Live video streaming via the Internet (youtube, twitcasting, etc.) by attendees at the venue is prohibited.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>OFFF will not be responsible for any damages or disputes resulting from attendees publishing photos or videos. Please resolve the matter between the parties concerned.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Photography by official staff at the dealers&#8217; booths will only be conducted with prior permission from each dealer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Photos and videos taken by the official staff may be used for future reference materials, announcements, or promotional purposes. Photos taken by attendees may also be used for the above purposes. In such cases, OFFF will contact the photographer to request permission.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This event may be covered by newspapers, television, radio, magazines, local publications, online media, and other press outlets, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">\u3010Dealer&#8217;s booth (For Buyers)\u3011<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>When the booth is busy, please wait in two lines. Follow the instructions of the dealer or the staff.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you are asked to verify your age by the dealer or the staff, please present a document that can verify your age as soon as possible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please ask the dealer&#8217;s permission before viewing samples of their work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please do not place any objects or money on top of the merchandise.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please prepare small bills and coins whenever possible to minimize the need for change. When using large bills, make sure that change is available before making a purchase.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please do not loiter in front of dealer booths.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">\u3010Harassment\u3011<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">OFFF does not tolerate harassment of any kind, including sexual harassment, harassment based on nationality or region of origin, physical harassment, or any other form of harassment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Examples of harassment<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Forcing sexual conversations. Excluding someone from the group for not accepting sexual jokes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sexual harassment, regardless of gender or orientation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u3010Gender Harassment\u3011 Discriminatory or stereotypical remarks related to gender or sexuality, such as \u201cYou seem gay\u201d or \u201cEven though you\u2019re a woman\u2026\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u3010Racial Harassment\u3011Discriminatory remarks and stereotypical comments such as &#8220;People from this country lie easily&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u3010Photo Harassment\u3011Taking a picture and uploading it to a social networking service without permission from the person in the photo.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u3010Customer Harassment\u3011Pressuring an artist to provide a free art.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any behavior that makes another person feel unsafe, pressured, or uncomfortable may be considered harassment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Each of you should interact with others in a respectful manner. If someone says \u201cno,\u201d stop the behavior immediately and respect their refusal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>OFFF staff will do their best to operate the event safely, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation in order to hold a safe and secure event.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">\u3010Adult Content Policy within the OFFF Venue (Intex Osaka)\u3011<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Intex Osaka prohibits the display or viewing of adult content anywhere within the Intex Osaka facilities (including parking areas) outside the OFFF event space.<br>Attendees are asked to fully understand and comply with this rule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The OFFF staff will do their best to operate the event, and we appreciate your cooperation in helping ensure a safe and comfortable convention for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">OFFF Organizing
